Description

David Peppercorn M.W. writes in his book "Bordeaux" about the Union des Producteurs de Saint-Emilion: "This is one of the great success stories of the Gironde".

These wines have been lying in their cellars since bottling and have not been on sale for a long time but when asked, they offered me a small allocation. This is a rare opportunity to acquire a bottle from the good vintage 1950 at such a fair price.

Our comment on
Yet another vintage that has been overlooked because of its great predecessor. Many wines are still very good. Cheval Blanc and most Pomerols are even great. La Mission Haut Brion and Latour made good wines as usual and Château Margaux has a good reputation.
